Being Creative Blog Party

Good Sunday Morning!  My back is soo much better today so I'm back on my blog! Didn't think this day would ever come!
I am joining Amisha's Creative Blog Party Every Sunday!  Today I'm showing off some of the Spun Cotton Easter Ornaments I created.  Some ornaments I make resemble the antique ones from long ago. Others come out of my head which most of them are. Lots of mornings I wake up and see an ornament in my minds eye and get up fast and I draw a picture of my thoughts. Or I look around at my supplies and get ideas of what I can make. As far as time, an ornament will take atleast  3 days from start to finish.
Mama bunnies   measure 4 3/4" tall.

Bunny on the hobbyhorse is 4 1/4" tall to tip of ears.
Just Ducky measures almost 4 1/2" to top of her easter bonnet.
Mama chickens  are 5" tall to the top of their hats, baby chick is 4" tall to tip of her party hat.

These little bunnies measure just under 4" tall to the tips of  their ears.

My little bunny boxes measure 5 1/2 inches from bottom of box to tip of ears.

This baby bunny in the cabbage is 2 1/4" to the top of his ears.

My post for the Being Creative Blog Party

I'm late adding my post for the Creative blog Party, and I missed Pink Saturday because last monday I knocked my back out of place and have been recooperating ever since. I want to show you the wood plaque I painted last summer to hang outside on my porch. This was my first attempt at painting with no instructions. I purchased a piece of bare wood at the craft store came home and got to work.
I used my non toxic craft paint and tried making Hydraengeas like we grow in our garden. I like these paints because I can   wipe my white work table clean with a wet rag.

I found a good thick fast grab glue thats also non toxic. I can get this all over my fingers and it washes right off as does the paint I get all over my fingers.

Being Creative Blog Party

Hi All!  I am joining Amisha's Creative Blog Party Every Sunday!
I made this Log Cabin Quilt about 25 years ago,  the problem is I never finished the edging which is about 3 rows of fabric. around.

So all the Quilts I put on this post either need finishing off or Quilting. I put a quilt aside and went on to new projects and instead of going back to finish a quilt I found a new Quilt pattern I fell in love with.

Then I had some extra aqua fabric left over from another project so I Started yet another quilt. This one needs more hand quilting and the edge finished off.

Okay then my girlfriend and I purchased this pattern and we both made matching Quilts, neither of us finished them.
I purchased this Vintage Quilt Top some years ago and wanted to make a complete  quilt out of it.
Your right never did anything with it.

This one I started about 5 years ago I fell in love with a picture of a quilt Grandmothers Garden. I sewed this one by hand!  I have a few more blocks to sew and then 2 more rows around each block. The top of this quilt will be all hand sewn.

Tumbling Blocks Quilt 3/4 finished.
 .
As soon as I finish the ornaments I'm working on, I'm going to start working on some of my quiltsThats my March Resolution!!  I want to get 2 or 3 finished this year!
I Hope!
