Antique Reproduction Spun Cotton Frog Ornaments

I love making these spun cotton reproductions from the Victorian Era. The look of each frog is very different but they are both so cute! The frog on the left is holding a miniature antique reproduction postcard and I gave him glass eyes. I just recently started working with glass eyes and I think it adds so much more character to the piece. The frog on the right is all dressed up in his hat and collar. ornamentsbypink.etsy.com

Celestial Spun Cotton Ornaments

I've always loved to collect moons and stars so I decided to make these whimsical ornaments. They are made in the same antique style spun cotton as my other ornaments. Available at ornamentsbypink.etsy.com.

I went to Ghoultide Gatherings!

I went to Ghoultide Gatherings this year for the first time. It was so much fun to see the original artwork in person and meet the artists. The show is set in Mill Race Village in Northville Michigan. It's a collection of historical buildings from the 1800's and the perfect spot for a Halloween themed artshow.

Solar Fountain and Butterfly

This pretty butterfly was enjoying our blackberry bushes. He's the first one we saw so far this summer. Above is a solar powered fountain. If you ever considered getting one they are totally worth it. We have 3 of them and we love them. You can put them anywhere in your garden that gets sun. No cords or plugs needed.

I love this antique victorian lace.
I would like to make some dolls and use the lace for the dresses but I just don't know if I'll be able to part with the lace.

Cottage Style Table

I'm trying to decorate my living room in the cottage style and I recently received this table as a gift from my aunt. We found it at a local antique store. It's my favorite piece of furniture right now. I'm still deciding where to put it though.
